      "name": "Riv Cherubim Bandana. $8, made in Carolina, USA",
      "description": "100% Cotton Made in one of the Carolinas—take your pick. All cotton, and with a design you won't find in the bandana drawer or around the neck of your average Tom, Dick, and Harry. A baby angel is a cherub. Plural of cherub is either cherubs or (the preferred for our puposes here), cherubim. On this bandana, the cherubim are holding bicycle components...and there's a salmon at the center, a few winged sheep, four roses, and assorted nuts and bolts. Specs: roughly 22\" x 22\", same as our other bandanas, also made in Carolina. At $8, it's pricier than our other bandannas, because it's not a stock cowboy-style paisley pattern, and both colors are custom. But take a look around at other semi-vanity branded custom bandannas. Most sell for more, none match this quality, and it's not so precious that you can't use it out in the woods for u know what in a pinch. Bonus: $3 from every bandana sold will go to one of our favorite left-wing charities. Either Single Mother of Three, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, or TBD. Cherub trivia: In the old old days, artists didn't know how to draw baby faces, so they put adult faces on babies. That's just how it was, and \"in keeping with tradition,\" these cherubim have that same disconcerting aspect.",

      "name": "Shifter - Downtube - Silver1 (each)",
      "description": "Note: We don't recommend these for 11-speed rigs or with modern SRAM derailers, which have an \"actuation\" ratio that's different. We haven't tested them with those, and have no interest in those. It's kind of a matter of: Pick your solar system and stick with it, do things that others in that solar system do. Tip: Put some loc-tite on the D-ring bolt threads and you'll likely never have to mess with them. If your shifter loses a little tension, turn it at the next stop or even while you're riding, if you're careful. These are the best shifters you'll ever set a hand on. There's nothing like them, and if you think your old SunTour barcons are the bee's knees, bless you, but you're living in dreamland. Their magic is the Power Ratchet inside. The old SunTours had that, too, but this Power Ratchet is a big improvement over that one (and since that one was already fine, this one...must be superfine.) The shifting is smooth, light, simple, fast, and precise. Indexing, in comparison, seems raucous and archaic. They work with any derailleur, and freewheel, cassette, chain, etc., so you have the peace of mind that comes from knowing you'll never be midway between gears and powerless to do anything about it. There's a short learning curve, but don't let that scare you. Everybody learns fast with these. The downtubers come just the shifters, because you don't need all the other monkey business. You'll still need cables and a little piece of housing, though. You may already have them, your LBS definitely does, and we definitely do, too.Silver1 and Silver2 shifters now include new and ",

      "name": "Shifter Mount - Silver Thumb Shifter Handlebar Clamp(each)",
      "description": "\"X\" Mount: Right Hand INSIDE shifter. \"O\" Mount: Left Hand INSIDE shifter. If you want to set up the shifters on the outside of the bar, mount the O on the right, X on the left. If you're using these with either the Silver1 or Silver2, match type O to type O, and type X to type X. ----- These are the mounts you'll need to use our Silver1 or Silver2 shifters as thumb shifters. They're sold individually, so you can do fun stuff like have two different types of shifters on one bike, or for 1x set-ups. With the shims installed, they fit 22.2mm bars, like Bosco, Choco, Alba and all \"mountain\" bars. If you take the shims out, you can mount them to the sleeve of 26.0 bars, like the noodle or the 26.0 Albastache. They will not fit the grip area of the albastache or other road drop. They do, however, fit perfectly on a 1 inch quill stem - see the photo to the left. What makes them special, and what separates them from every other thumbshifter mount out there, is the 16 different positions possible for the cable exit point. That means, no matter where you put them on the handlebar, the cable can have a perfect route to the downtube stops. These are compatible with the Silver 1 and Silver 2 shifters and Shimano bar-end shifters. Note: If you want to run the shifters right in front of mountain brake levers, you might have to flip the brake levers (run the left on the right and vice versa), otherwise the shifter might butt up into the lever clamp bolt. We don't have every brake lever to try out here, but we know that Dia Compe SS-6s and all Paul levers have clamp bolts tucked in enough ",
