"description": "Discover glass fusing in our most accessible class yet! Join us in the studio for a two hour exploration of glass-working in a friendly, safe environment with our experienced instructors. In First Fire, you'll learn to create works of art by cutting, shaping, and layering colored sheet glass while creating a shallow dish, glass tile, set of coasters, or a sun catcher. After tacking your glass art together, it's carefully loaded into one of our fusing kilns where the elements of your design will melt together and become a single piece of glass - it's like stained glass or mosaics, but without the need for soldering or grout!",

If you working on a project, we are more than willing to connect you with local glass artists on a commission basis. All private lessons or projects requiring special equipment or materials (large glory holes or kilns), color, coldworking, borosilicate flameworking, etc. may incur additional costs.
